Mango Financial Assists China Innovation in Partial Takeover Offer for 180 Million Shares of Easy Life (223.HK)

On May 14, 2025, according to official news from The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, China Innovation Investment Limited ("China Innovation", 1217.HK) announced that Mango Financial Limited ("Mango Financial") is acting on its behalf in making a partial takeover offer to Easy Life Holdings Limited ("Easy Life", 223.HK). China Innovation plans to acquire 180 million shares of Easy Life at HKD 0.056 per share, representing approximately 13.27% of its issued share capital.

China Innovation (1217.HK) is an investment holding company focused on the military-civil fusion technology sector. It was listed on the Main Board of the HKEX on August 28, 2002. The company primarily invests in dual-use military-civil projects, including military energy storage batteries, new-type light source products, eco-equipment materials, and energy-saving media terminals, aiming to achieve short-term and medium-term capital appreciation.

Easy Life (223.HK) is an investment holding company primarily engaged in natural gas operations and commodity trading. It was listed on the Main Board of the HKEX on April 10, 2002. Through its two main business segments - "Unconventional Natural Gas" and "Commodity Trading" - the company provides services in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and overseas markets.

As the financial advisor for this takeover offer, Mango Financial will, based on the Code on Takeovers and Mergers and the offer document, make this partial takeover offer to Easy Life on behalf of China Innovation.
